Free Family Photo Session in Miami

 

Miami families: this one's for you! Alex Marrero, Miami photographer, is thrilled to feature an upcoming free mini photo session with a family focus on September 4, 2022.

Shoott is back with another free event in the Greater Miami area!  This time around, the photo session will be hosted at South Pointe Park, featuring scenic waterfront views and stunning backdrops of nature.  Alex Marrero has previously featured shoott, a female owned and operated collective of creatives committed to offering free and low cost photography sessions on a sliding scale.  The platform also assists new and aspiring photographers in the process of developing their portfolios, by hosting events just like this upcoming session.  This event will be centered around shining the spotlight on what ‘family’ means to everyone… whether that means mom, dad and sister or mother and daughter.  At the end of the day, it’s all about featuring ‘love!’

Photography 101 for Mom Bloggers

Calling all Mom Bloggers in the Miami and South Florida area! Local photographers and #bossmoms, Priscilla Gomez and Darcy Graf welcome you for an afternoon of content creation and collaboration on September 17th at Crusoe Wynwood. Magic City Creative Alex Marrero shares the details:

South Florida Mom Bloggers and photographers: this one’s for you! On Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM, Pure Zeal Photography (Priscilla Gomez), Darcy Graf Photo and other mom bloggers will be at Crusoe Wynwood for a special meetup event. Appropriately named ‘Photography 101,’ this networking event and photography session will feature various workshops filled to the brim with photography tips, tricks and advice. There will also be a slew of hands-on content creation going on, as well as discussions on when you should consider hiring a professional photographer for a session or upcoming blog project. Of course, this will also be an awesome opportunity to meet fellow mommy bloggers, photographers and creatives in the local area. So if you’re looking to get your blog out there or start one with a focus on your life as the matriarch who moonlights as a photographer: don’t miss out on this meetup event!

Shoott: Pay Only For the Photos You Love!

You may even be obligated to fulfill a contract requirement that states you must pay, in full, for your photos — even if you don’t like a single one. On the flipside, a photographer’s time and talent is extremely valuable. In the event that the session doesn’t go as planned and the client is unhappy with most of the photos, the photographer is also at a disadvantage. Well, shoott can’t stand that and they don’t think that you or newbie photographers should have to deal with that either!

Volunteers Needed for Miami Swim Week 2022

 

Miami Swim Week is back for the 2022 Runway Showcase and Alex Marrero Miami fashion photographer couldn’t be more thrilled to be there! And you can be, too because Lan of Fashion needs volunteers for this exciting July 16-17, 2022 event.

On Saturday, July 16th and 17th, Lan of Fashion welcomes fashion lovers back for the Miami Swim Week Show.  This year’s Runway Showcase will take place at Hilton Bentley Miami and it’s going to be the biggest artistic explosion of summer fun that you’ve ever seen!  Alex Marrero, Miami Fashion Photographer, will be in attendance (with camera in hand, of course).  He can’t wait to see the latest looks and newest collections from international designers, independent fashion artists and local favorites.  There will be tons of styles blessing the runway as the models make a splash in an array of styles, including resort wear, swimwear, bikinis, lounge wear, women’s swim and men’s swim.

The roster is full of exciting talents.  But volunteers and participants are still needed to make this Fashion Show go off without a hitch!  Currently, the Lan of Fashion team is looking for a special someone to join the event as a Fashion Production Assistant on a volunteer basis.  This role is ideal for a newcomer with at least some general experience in event planning within the fashion industry.  This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to dip their toes in the water before taking the plunge into this creative and artistic line of work.  Other positions will also need to be filled, including photographers, ushers and more.  Be sure to reach out to Lan of Fashion directly for more information.
